Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Angry 2003 Expy Creaky Front Suspension.

Hi,
I've got an 03 Expedition, which i bought 1 month ago, and the front drivers side suspension sounds awful. It's OK when going over speed humps, but when i'm on the brake's and the vehicle's almost stopped,(it dips when it totally stops) theres a loud creaking noise, like metal on metal. I've had it jetwashed underneath, and oiled up also, but the noise came back after 2 weeks. Anyone else had this problem? If so, what was the permanent fix? Any help please, would greatly appreciate it!
Apart from that, the Expedition seems GREAT

see if the stabalizer bushings are okay and the stabilizer links are not loose, try tighten them and the ball joints are not loose.

Default 2003 Expy Creaky Front Suspension.

I had to buy the hub assembly, passenger side; on my 2003 Expedition XLT RWD. And the noise still there. I'm thinking on replacing the driver side with the one that I remove. I'm pretty sure, the noise will remain there. Some told me that I have to rotate the tires. I'll do that. But I don't want to be buying things and things and spen a lot of money until I figure it out what the problem was. Any ideas? Anyone with the same problem? How did you fix it if you happen to solve it?

Please let me know.

AG.
