Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Question Coil Pack Location??? 03 Expedition

Where are the Coil packs / spark plugs located on a 5.4 liter, 03 Expedition? Are they on the top of the motor (Intake side of the cylinder head) or are they located down between the exhaust ports on the cylinder head? Use to the old stuff I guess!
Thanks!
ED

i have a 97 and the plugs are on top next to the fuel rail and injectors the coil packs are are in front of the engine on each side this is for a 4.6 though yours may be different if you find the plugs try following the plug wires from the plugs down to the coil packs hope this might help you out

Thanks Snowman! That does help!
I believe my coil packs mount right on top of the plugs. If you ever need ford parts try www.directfordparts.com. I got my coil for $48.66 plus $10.00 shipping. Thats about half the price of my local dealer. I purchased parts for a windstar in the past and saved big on those parts as well. Good service too!
Thanks Again!
