Change tail light bulb -- HELP!

I feel like an idiot: I just bought a 2003 Expedition. Tail light went out. Need to change, so I bought the bulb. Now, for the life of me, I can't get off the plastic tail light enclosure. It's attached by two screws, which are exposed when you lift the hatch. Problem is, it's not a Phillips head, from what I can tell, and looks more like an Allen wrench screw. But none of the wrenches in my Allen wrench set fits this particular screw. It won't budge. Do I need some sort of special tool from Ford or a particular size screw driver? Thanks for your help.

I used a Torx Bit for our 2000 Expedition, it was a 6 sided star shape right?

TORX is correct. I just changed the LR bulb on my 2003.
