 2003 Expedition Cuts Out when Idling
Hello, My 2003 Expedition (119,000) miles cuts out when idling at traffic lights. At times it also hesitates during acceleration. It is not a constant problem and the service engine light does not come on when the engine cuts out. The Ford dealer has replaced the PCV and hose (was cutting out during Intersate driving at 65 to 70 MPH) and the Idle Control Valve/module(?). They also completed a major fuel injection system cleaning, replaced the air and fuel filters and replaced the battery (tested weak cranking amps and not related to this problem). Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this problem. |
