Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default H-PIPE

Hey guys, will a BBK or something similar H-Pipe fit on my 01 EXPY? I want to do a good exhaust and was wonder if the ones for the mustang's would fit. It is the same motor but I understand it is a truck platform and not a Mustang, if not, I am going to just fab a duel catback and run flows out the rear like the mustangs do but I will install big truck tips along with the flows, should make a good, deep rumble. Thanks in advance.

No I did not, but I will. Thanks for the help. Oh BTW, I was underneath my 01 last night changing the oil and decided to explore, that damn thing came with a 2.75 inch exhaust, I freaked, my Cobra only "had" a 2.5 inch exhuast. What I will more than likely do is just true duel it from the cats back running the pipes side by side on the passenger side becuase of the fuel tank and 5.0 style the exhuast out the back. Now I just have to fine some hi-flow cats to finish up.

I have finished my exhuast. I had to run the pipes down the passenger side becuase of the huge gas tank. I done it like the Lightning, I had the shop make an H-Pipe, it is welded on right before the factory pipe bends into a y-pipe. They pretty much cutt off right behind the cats and H piped it from there all the way back to 40 series flows, over the axles and ran out to two 18x4 1/2 echo tips. It is really loud and really, really low toned. It drones really bad when I cruise around with the overdrive off at about 50 mph, but sounds like a beast. Does not sound as good as my 03 Cobra, but that's another story.
