Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default Help with my 1998 Ford Expedition
I live in Costa Rica. Because of import taxation rates at over 60%, a new Ford Expedition runs about $80,000 US.

I have a 1998 Ford Expedition that has just passed 100,000 miles and I would like to keep it for another three or four years. It looks good and runs perfectly. I have never had a problem more major than a computer malfunction or an alternator going out.

I would like to send this car to the Ford Dealership in San Jose and spend whatever it takes to make it last for another four years. What should I have changed? They do not offer this type of advise down here... Radiator? Thermostat? Fan Clutch? What else?

If it was mine, I'd change everything in it that's wet... plus the fuel filter & pcv valve...
