Ford Explorer Ford Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Explorer was completely redesigned in 2006 and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation.

If your exhaust tip is larger than your cylinder bore, then you are a Ricer.

So i figured out how to get it into 2wd lol i can get em to spin pretty good on turns and snow but dry cement and water its still pretty hard. Lemme ask this if u have very agressive tires would that play a role in not letting it spin on the concrete?? The tires have an A traction rating and Are offroad tires??? What is another brand or really shitty tire i could use to get em to spin on concrete?

Thanx again.

Yea tires are a big factor. I had liberator a/ts and they would only slip on snow and ice. I heard the tracker 2s at wally world dont have very good rain and snow traction. and another was to loos the tires is gearing, what is your rear end gear? and what motor do you have? Torque plays a big role as well as gearing.

At this point I am suggesting you sell the Explorer and go buy a Mustang since you seem like you just want to spin the tires, Explorers are not designed for this.

i agree with mark v. Unless you plan on making it a street truck. But if you want a tire roaster or speed demon, an explorer, or any SUV for that matter, is not what you need.

I got disc brakes on the back of my bird, don't keep me at all from smoking the tires. Get balder tires, or more power if your having problems.

I think you really need to sell the Explorer and buy a Mustang then you will have the correct rear-end and can smoke tires all day long till they blow-up, then you can find some new tires and repeat.

HA, i wish i had the money to do that. With my ex, im going the power root aswell, but roasting tires is not the goal. i want to be able to tow well and sound good doing it, also, i want to get better gas millage. On another forum im a member of, a guy got 35 mpg or so out of a 98 SOHC V6 eddie bauer explorer.
