Ford ExplorerFord Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Explorer was completely redesigned in 2006 and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation.
Alright gueys so i dont know if this T-case is working properly or not. In auto today i took a turn and i could feel the back tires spin and hear it pretty good but there are two marks. looks like maybe front and rear spinning but not sure??
Im 4x4Hi it defenitly feels more stable. and locked but still spins a bit
How do i test this control-trac to make sure its working
Clay i made need to meet you again to test this T-case.
THIS IS NORMAL. FORD IS CORRECT. im sorry, i dont know any other way to tell you.. Ive told you a million times it should do that. have you seen people off roading when maby one or two tires spin even tho they are in 4 low. its designed to do that since its a street truck... i did it all the time in my old explorer. id crank the wheels and the rear would spin out and the front woulnt budge. even my 5. AWD all the time does this. there is NOTHING wrong. Also if there was something wrong with your case, when you put it in low or 4x4 hi, it wouldnt work. and it does. trust me, you are fine....
