Ford Explorer Ford Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Explorer was completely redesigned in 2006 and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation.

because it was my 2nd accident and well the car was totaled my guess is the right side drive axles axles grease caught on fire (i also found my gauges werent working properly that night) and then the break fluid went and the rest of the engine compartment went from there and then it basically rolled down the hill after that

And finding another X to replace that one is unlikely

Man I love what you did to that truck... It looked awesome. I definately feel your pain. Do you mind if I ask what all you did on the suspension and where you got the front brush guard and mount to fit the 99, or is that a 97?
