Well, since all of the products out there are darker than I wanted..
Take a spray gun, and get some black paint, and some clear paint (like the small cans of rustolem). Mix them, and do test sprays, until it is the desired darkness. Then, spray the taillights. Be sure to hit it with multiple layers of clear for protection, and so they are glossy.

I was a little worried pulling up on that bank in the last two pictures, because the "path" there (which is actually an unpaved rural highway) slopes out, and is going down a hill. The last thing I wanted to do was flop, so I figured that was as high as I should go. I want to know how high I could have gone, or if I could have gotten totally up on the bank..but I don't really want to know at the same time....

As you can see, I wouldn't recommend driving the 55mph speed limit on this part of the road...

I had to cut this whole section out and rebuild it, so I still need to do more smoothing here, but the day I was working on it I was tired and just stopped at this. It was good enough for now. Later I will be smoothing more.

Well, I never posted picture of my sub, so I figure now is a good time. It's an RE SX 15 (2004 model, back when they still made them in the US and were an independent company), and sounds awesome. It's in a 6cu/ft vented box.

i like it, you mentioned about having to re-wire a few things to get the lights in the correct spots the only thing I dont have is the Check Engine light.
