Ford Explorer Ford Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Explorer was completely redesigned in 2006 and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation.

Default Customizing the 04 XLT

I'm finally going to start doing something with my explorer but I honestly don't know much about anything when it comes to vehicles. So I am asking assitance and opinions on what should I do and/or what you would do.

First off, I'm going to start with something cheap and easily noticable, a new grille. The link below is what I have my eye on but if anyone could show me a different one then please leave me a link.

Second will hopefully be rims. Has to be 22" of chrome. Not quite sure what style I want though, I've looked through a few websites but haven't really found any that I would be happy with keeping on my ride. But then again this purchase I am being very picky with. I want rims that are very unique, not the straight spoked ones I see around all the time. So again, if you have anything in mind then please let me know.

If I can't do the rims second then I will go with aftermarket headlights and taillights. These I have no idea where to find so any information would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

Update to pictures. I now have a black bug sheild and rain guards.
