Ford Explorer Ford Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Default meansam
Can anybody tell me the location of the turn signal flasher on my 1999 explorer? Two aftermarket shop manuals say it is under the lower instrument panel section, immediately to the left of the steerng column. I'm skeptical of the location because I can see that there is a fair sized steel panel immediately behind the somewhat removeable plastic panel. Another reason for skepticism is that the instructions for removing the plastic panel do not match well with what is seen.
Any help will be appreciated. meansam
