2000 Explorer Sport has ABS light and more

Ford Explorer Ford Explorer is a midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the TrailBlazer, Grand Cherokee, 4Runner, and Pathfinder. Explorer was completely redesigned in 2006 and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation.

divecrazy06 Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 1	2000 Explorer Sport has ABS light and more The ABS light is always on and about every 5 minutes while driving we have a 4 hi 4 low light flash. We are taking it to a dealer on Monday to get a diagnostics check ran to see what error codes will be found. What are some common reasons for this to be happening. We have noticed no problems while driving and are completely lost. Thanks for any advice you can give me. We took it to the dealer and they say that the ABS light is a problem with the rear center speed sensor. For the 4 hi and 4 lo light they want to replace the GEM. Does that sound right?
