Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Default Fuel siphoning

Is it possible to siphon gas from cars today, or should I use a locking gas cap on my 2004 F-150 ?

It is possible but It will take forever. If you get a locking gas cap, make sure to get a quality sealed cap. Newer vehicles do not use the older styled vented caps.

Most new vehicles have a floating ball in the fill tube , at the bottom. This prevents people from topping off the tanks and spilling. The added side bennefit of this, is that you cannot get a siphoning hose down into the tank. That is why we are not seeing the resurgence of locking gas caps, like we did back in the mid 70's.
