| 89 F-250 tailgate hello,
the chrome handle on my tailgate broke off while trying to open the tailgate. Is there a way to open tailgate and repair this without cutting an opening behind the latch?
Thanks, Goody |

| You might try your local library. I used to do auto locksmithing and when I ran into something unknown I go there and almost always find the answer. good luck |

| There should be a panel on the back side of the tailgate held in by torx bit screws,it might be hidden if you have a tailgate protector/bedliner installed |
