I have a 99 F-250 7.3 Turbo Diesel and the ABS light is constantly on, along with a flashing overdrive off light on the shifter. I have troubleshot all my circuits and can not find the cause. Has anyone seen this before?
might possibly be a transmission speed sensor, and on these, they're not fun... on top of the extension housing... they can be done, but you're doing it by feel...

I have an F-350 same year and problem. My scan code was 500, Vehicle Speed Sensor. My local Napa had the sensor for $30.00. I bought a Ford CD on EBay, but it's not clear on how to change it.
