Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Default diesel drippage

99 F-350 diesel, drips fuel out of an obvious overflow. The pipe drains in front of the block and is attached to back of filter canister. How do I fix this?? It can't be that complex, eh? Thanks for your replies!!

On some of the diesels the drain spout at the base of the filter housing leaks. I did change one once at it fixed the problem. I don't remember if it was on the 7.3 or the 6.0 Had to get from FORD

its a drain not a overflow, it should not leak. try loosing the filter and open the yellow nobe let it drain then close it. (located on the filter housing on the right side) see if that stops it.
