Default Fuel tank switch

I just got a 95 F-250 with just shy of 160k and all the plow goodies but when i bought it the guy said it needed a fuel tank switch relay for the dual tanks it works fine on the rear only but when you have it set to the fore-ward tank the rear still supplies fuel and dosent tell it to switch over any ideas or just leave it a 1 tank deal?

There is a selector switch which allows you to pick the tank in use and it controls which sending unit is used by the guage. Does the guage show a change when you flip the switch from front to rear tank? There is a fuel tank switching valve underneath on the frame rail. That controls which tank the engine recieve fuel from. I have had to change those before.

This is not my strong point , but I believe there are 2 and they are in each tank.
