forthvacav Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 4	1990 f150 4x4 temperture sending unit I have a 1990 f150 4x4 302 v8. My in dash tempture gauge stop working the other day it was going crazy a few days earlier. So I went and bought what I thought was right sending unit. This truck has two sending units one for the computer for when engine is cold and one for the temperture gauge itself. Got home and found that both units look the same. Both have a two wire plug. According to my haynes book and the people at the parts store the sensor is suppost to be the type that has on wire going to it and it grounds itself to the engine to work the gauge. But not on this engine. Not sure of whats going on. According to alldata I have the right location for this sensor. To the right of the distributor and just behind it. Any help on this would be nice. Thanks:
