Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Hey everybody! Names Al, and I'm the proud owner of a 92 F150 4x4. Original 300 six/ 5-speed setup with 500,000 kms on the clock. Needless to say it's time for a rebuild or replacement. My question is this; Can I use a long block out of an older truck and just bolt my EFI setup on it or did they change something on the newer years? Any input will be appreciated as I don't really know much about the big sixes.

Keepin it Real

I'm pretty sure the long block will swap, just check your distributor, oil pan, smog holes on the head, and bosses for brackets.

500,000 km! thats like 312,500 miles, yet again another testament to the great 300!

Finally, someone else knows about these guys! I've given them plugs several times and it just seems like no one is paying attention. They may not have the selection of Summit or Jegs, but they have done alright by me and their prices are good, too!
