Default 99 F150 supercab - close the doors and the Door Ajar light stays on.
I have a 99 f150 supercab and close the doors and the Door Ajar light stays on. Any Ideas?

I know it is a little late on this but it is the door open switch. Ford has a problem with them. My 2001 250 has the samething, worse is the fact that the inside light won't go out when this is happening.

hi, I had the same problem few weeks ago, it looks like the switch gets dirty and stop responding, I fixed the problem by spraying W2-40 inside the latch and switch, hope it helps, try to use the little straw that came with it.
