Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

I would check two relays in the fuse panel. Both are involved in these circuits. One is the Battery saver relay, the other is the Accessory delay relay. Your owners manual should point these out.

Default 2003 F250 diesel-radio, windows, dome light, visor lights stop working

We have a 2003 F250 7.3 diesel. The radio stops working and at the same time, the windows, the dome light and the visor lights won't work. Then all of a sudden, they all come back on. They may stay off for 5 minutes or 2 hours and then come back on. Also, we've noticed when the radio goes off, the CD won't play, but if you push the button to eject or load a CD, the light will come on like it's going to work, while the radio info is blank. We haven't been able to figure out the problem. We've taken it to Ford, but they haven't figured anything out either.

MTackmier, I'm interested to know if you solved your problem. Our radio, etc was getting where it went off more frequently, several times a day. About one week ago, when our radio went off, my husband opened the hood and started moving around the wire harnesses on the driver's side and the radio went back on. Since then it hasn't gone off and that has been one week. I'm sure it will go off again, but at least we know that it has something to do with wires in that area, which is more than we knew before.

it could be a bad ground.
In the older trucks the windows and radio were on the same circuit breaker in the fuse box.

You may obtain an owners manual here for 1996 and newer
Fuse panels are listed in the "Roadside Emergencies" section.
