Default ticking noise in the frount hubs..

Hi everyone my frist post.... I have a 02 Ford F-250 V10 and cann't turn the hubs in and out... The ticking noise you can here it when I'm going slow... If i ture the switch to 4x4 it quits... I can't turn the plastic knob in the middle of the hubs... Can you take these apart and try and loosen these parts up... i can see there is a snap ring on the inside... Is there any web sites that show picture of these takin apart....Any help thank

I am not sure if the newer hubs may be electrically activated/engaged. This one is not.
You may also google warn hubs. I'm not sure of their site address, but they'll almost certianyl have a diagram.

Also we recently discussed thi sissue a bit in a different thread.
