How hard should i be to rotate the front wheels of the truck when they are in the air and the automatic transmission is in neutral

You can rotate them as hard as you want to, it'll take a good beating. Keep in mind, the transmission goes to the rear diff, so you can have the transmission in park with the front end off the ground and the front wheels will still turn.
