Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Default Timing cover confusion

Another Noobie. I have a 1997 f350 4x4 crew cab 7.5l. I'm in the middle of replacing the timing cover and can't seem to find the right one. the one i bought yesterday has to have a fuel pump block off installed and it does not have the threaded bungs for the magnetic pickup from the crank. Ive been looking on-line for the right one and cannot find it. Every one that i have seen has the fuel pump block off and is missing the bungs. i am not the OG owner so i guess anything is possible. Anyone experienced this B4?

okay, so i found out from my local dealer that even though Ford has made the 460 engine for 20+ years, The 1997 version has a Timing Cover that is unique to that year and Ford no longer produces this part. I am struggling to find it on the West Coast. I will post the Ford part # for it tomorrow(left it at work), and currently trying to find it in the Aftermarket. Does any of this ring a bell for anyone? I usually have this 1 in a million chance kind of luck, too bad it is never on a lottery ticket.!
