Default v-10 stalling problem
I have a 99 F250 SD 4x4, V-10 5-speed. Runs good, idles good, but when I am using the engine for braking, or in reverse pushing a load, and put the clutch in, it dies. I have to turn it off then recrank, otherwise it acts like it is flooding, gas smell and everything. Will not run smooth until it is cut off and restarted, like it is having to reset the computer. Very anoying, especially since I live in the mountains. It is not setting any codes. Any idea where to start looking/testing?
