Hi, i recently purchased a 09 F-250 which is the first diesel truck i have
ever owned. I have a few questions about the dpf delete kits.
I have heard talk of CA requiring new diesel pick-ups to be
smogged, but I'm not thrilled with the particulate filter I'm running
with it the mean time. So the Bolt on exhaust/chip sounds like it might
work for me.
I was curious as to what kind of job it would be if i installed the dpf delete exhaust and needed to re-install the stock exhaust to
comply with possible state regulations for a period of time.
Also i know almost nothing about how a chip would work. Is it as easy
as plug it in to activate the new tune and un plug it to go back to stock settings?
