Default HELP! 96 Ford F250 4x4 351w TRANSMISSION PROBLEM
Hi,

I was towing a trailer with a bobcat today and noticed that I lost alot of power as i was driving. I was close to home and continued driving until I got there. I never heard any noises but I was leaking transmission fluid quickly from what appears to be a seal around the tranny. Anyone know what could have happened? Truck still starts, havent moved it though. Any ideas? I cant take a photo tomorrow morning of where its leaking if that will help determine the problem. Would breaking a gasket cause the loss of power or is the transmission blown? If it blows would I still be able to drive it? I also had overdrive OFF when I was towing if that helps.
