Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Unhappy Ford F250 problem?

I have a problem with my truck and i cannot seem to figure out what it is. I have been trying to get it fixed for weeks now and decided to jump online and get some assistance. I have a 2004 Ford F250 SuperDuty Powerstroke V8 Turbo Diesel 6.0 for starters. My problem is when i take off down the road the truck powers up about 10MPH faster out of nowhere. When it is at a stop it surges to take off and then dies? i find this problem very odd. anyh help would be great. thanks Matt

Sounds like an EGR problem. Have you had it checked for codes, do you have a check engine light on? Is the coolant a milky color?
