I would say you need to bleed the brakes. When you had the rotors off did you notice any leaks,of brake fluid anywhere?
I just did the brakes on my 20002 ford 150,and like you, had to replace the rotors and the pads. Brakes are good now.
While this was being done I checked the tie rod ends. I found both inner and outer tie rod ends were shot. Second set on this truck, and it only has 68,000miles. Ford came out with a bulletin in 2004 about this. There is a special procedure to check these tie rod ends. My buddy has the info, but is away at the moment, but FORD should be able to help. I replaced mine with MOOG ,the type with grease nipples on them.Hope this helps Pacific Pete |
