Ford F - Series The Ford F-Series lineup offers a plethora of models for every occasion or occupation, starting below $20,000 and climbing beyond double that. The F-Series line offers something on the order of 75 permutations, more than some car companies' entire lineups. All are capable of work or play, even those models with luxurious interiors, and all have four doors.

Default F250 Fuel Leak

Have A 2000 F 250, 7.3 Powerstroke. It Is Leaking Fuel On Top Of Engine And It Is Dripping Down Under The Frame And The Coolant Lines. Does Anyone Know What Is Wrong And How To Fix The Problem?

check around the fuel filter housing. make sure the drain switch is not moved, also check thew little sensor on the fuel bowl on the drivers side it has one wire going into it. if its leaking use epoxy around the plastic to the metal it should stop it. also check the fuel pump its mechanical and is in the v of the engine in the middle. there is also a o-ring in front of the boel near the high oil pressure lines that will leak fuel.

it was the drain valve on the fuel filter. Local dealer said that they had several of these reported in the last few months for 1997 to 2000 f250's. Cost $60.00 at dealer, tried searching on line could not find. After I bought this one I went back on line and entered part number and found for half price. Go to a web site that sells Ford Parts and enter this part number, F81Z-9A153-AA and it will come us as valve assembly, I think it is the same part.
