| 92 351 exhaust problems I recently put new manifolds on my truck and I am still having an exhaust leak that sounds like it is up by the intake. I have been told that there is a tube that goes from head to head and that could be causing my issue. Anyone had this issue before and know how to find the leak? Thanks. |

| Same problem here.I have an '88 F-250 351.There is an air tube that goes from head to head with a single hold-down bolt on each side. The tube on mine had rust holes in it ,hence the "tractor" like exhaust sound. So I just removed the tube(along with the air pump, which you can get a shorter belt to compensate) and cut the tube and sealed it at the "block" shaped ends that bolt to the back of the heads(I welded the ends I cut off on mine,or you could thread a plug into it). and put them back on |

| The heads are threaded, just trash the crossover tube & screw a bolt into each head(done this to the '86 5.0 I put in my Comet)
