| '89 F 150 Won't start 5.0 L V-8. Cranked it up and let it idle. After a couple of minutes of idling it supttered and quit running. Have not been able to crank it again. Has fire to distributor. Checked fuel pressure and it was way too high. Replaced fuel pressure regulator. Can hear fuel pumps engage. Inertia switch button in pushed in. Did vacuum check on EGR valve-OK. Please help. |

| my 89 did the same thing then i changed the coolant sensor and it runs like a champ now.if you cange it go to ford and get it because the after market one from an auto store is made of plastic and is shit but fords is brass so it lasts longer.
just unplug the sensor to see if it runs better |
