|  6.0 diesel hard start
I have an 03 F250 w/ 6.0 diesel that periodically starts hard. Doesnt matterif its hot or cold. Has been going on for a year. Ford has changed all sensors, wiring harness, even the short block but no help. Ford engineers are stumped but are not willing to do a buy back. Any suggestions? |

try unplugging the egr sensor when this happens. | |

Could very well be a small air leak somewhere - check all the fuel line clips by the injectors, the pump and return lines - it doesn't have to leak fuel to have a break somewhere.... and as you know all it takes is a pin hole somewhere. | |
