| Cargo and interior light stays on 99 F350 This evening we had a strong storm with much heavy lightning. My 99 F350 super duty was out side in the storm
Later I started it up to drive and the interior and cargo lights came on and stayed on. A light on the dash showed door ajar . I reshut all of the doors and this did not cut out the lights. I stopped the truck, killed it and again started it up and the lights came on again. I again opened and shut all of the doors and this did not cut out the lights.
I killed the truck and left it sitting in the driveway and in about 5 minutes the cargo and interior lights went out.
I again started it up and same thing again, lights on.
Any one have this happen or can someone tell me how to program something or change something to get these lights off when I attempt to drive. It seems that the truck thinks a door is agar or open even thou they are not open.
Thanks,
Peter |
