Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

OK, Im new to these cars and I noticed that coming off my master cylinder there are three wires, appear to be electrical connections, what in the world are these for??

They activate the red brake light on the dash when you have low brake fluid level

Unfortunately the OP never mentioned what year this car is.


So will say,
No it doesn't, that circuit activates the Brake lights....... on the back of the car when the master cylinder hydraulics puts pressure on thew pressure switch.

You are thinking of the brake failure which is located on the Proportioning Valve.

This is what he is talking about.
