Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default Ford Fairlane late model Mustang front suspention

Has anyone swapped the later Mustang spindles and brake compnents on earlier fairlanes? I know Fatman has a kit, so does dearborn classics. But has anyone done it without the struts? Everyone talks about the granada swap, but what if i want larger rotors? I have two donor cars a 87 Mustang, and a 95 Mustang. Any help would be apreciated!!

Use the 95 Mustang spindles and go the Fatman route. If you want larger rotors get the cobra stuff and bolt on. I did have big 12.4" rotors on my Granada spindles from a 99 Crown Vic before I changed to a strut front end. Now I am using 05 mustang GT rotors with the crown vic calipers on the Mustang spindles. Confusing huh?.

Did you use fatmans front end? I'm assuming you used 95 mustang struts. What did you use for the master cylinder ?

Made my own conversio. The struts are 87-93 Mustang. Newer ones are longer and there is more available travel with the shorter ones. M/C is from a 98 Mustang with rear discs.
