Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

yes.. i was actually going to do the same thing except different spindles... you'll have to get the ball joints out of another older ford with the tierod ends behind the spindle (closer to the firewall) they are from my experience all the same as long as the tierod ends are behind the spindle.. they started putting the tierod ends in front of the spindle on newer vehicles so you'll have to get one off of a 75 ish or earlier model. i dont know if they will fit.. but i dont think they will (i havent tried it) but if they dont.. you'll have to get that entire suspension set up because everything else is different on the vehicles with factory disk brakes. so you'll have to do some cutting and welding.. once i came to this conclusion i just put my drumss back on and decided i'll buy the conversion kit on ebay later but if you try it and it works.. please post how on here man.. because i will probably do the same thing

buy the ball joints for the granada they bolt right up perfectly and my fairlane had the ball joints welded to the control arm plus bolts and for the tie rods i used the granadas again and drilled my centerlink to fit now i have power disk brakes ..and i used the master cylinder and prop valve from a 83 stang

Some people also get the spindles drilled out to accept the ball joint at a machine shop...
