Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default 1966 GTA hood on a 1967 500 XL

One question. I have a 1967 500XL and looking to do a GTA clone.

Will a 1966 Fairlane GTA hood fit on a Fairlane 500XL?

Thanks!

well do measurements and compare, there is a chance that if it fits it could still be tweaked

The only body differences b/w 66 and 67 are the grill, headlights, and taillights. All body panels are interchangeable. We race 2 66's and one 67 and the old hood from my 66 is on the 67 now.
