The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
Does the '66 Fairlane front suspension/spindle interchange with the '67-68 Mustang? I read somewhere that they're the same parts, but I'd feel better hearing from someone who's actually swapped the parts. Did a quick search here but didn't find anything specific. Thanks!
