Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default 289 salvage

Anybody think an old 289 that has been sitting on the ground for 10 years is worth saving?

That depends on the condition. If it won't turn over, i'd say junk it. If the crank will turn freely, then it possibly could be rebuilt. Is it a 5 or 6 bolt block? Is it a 2 or 4bbl engine? All these things would factor into it's value.
