Value of a 66 Fairlane s code 390 4 speed project?
Ford FairlaneFord Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
Value of a 66 Fairlane s code 390 4 speed project?
Looking at a 66 Fairlane gt 390 s code 4 speed car. It's been sitting around since the early 80's. The car has the front and rear glass out of it and there is no rust in the window areas. The car has all the original drivetrain down to the carb. It has most of the original paint. The whole interior is there, it's a 4 speed console car. Has build sheet. Floors are good, passenger has a couple pin holes, other than that the underneath just has some surface rust. The car has 60000 original miles on it. It comes with a few new interior items, but from what i can tell the factory door panels are good. The body is pretty clean accept for a 3x3 hole in the lower passenger quarter panel behind the tire. The rust did not make it through to the trunk drop off. What would a price on this car be? I may buy it, but don't want to over spend on it. Thanks and cool site.
If the motor isn't stuck it should be worth 2500 or so. Really hard to tell without a picture. I could be low if it looks better than I am picturing. If the motor doesn't run you should be able to use that to bargain a little. Gt's are definitely worth more
