Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default 67 Fairlane Brake Booster
I have a 1967 Fairlane with the Midland power brake booster (the one with the clamp band) and I can't find a remanufactured unit anywhere. According to Autozones parts catalog this car can have either the Midland or Bendix booster (which is available). Does anybody know if the Bendix unit will fit my car and bolt to the mounting bracket? Any help would be appreciated!!!

I found the answer to my question and it is "no", they are not interchangable, I ordered a Bendix unit from Autozone and the bolt pattern is different. So I guess I will have to have my unit rebuilt.

I had mine rebuilt by Booster Dewey out of Portland OR.
He did a great job and a quik turnaround. Found him in a FOA magazine.

Default Dewey Booster
I had Dewey Booster rebuild mine and I am very happy with their service. They are fast, professional and reasonably priced.
