Ford FairlaneFord Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
Got a problem. The Passenger door is partially closed (slightly ajar). Something is wrong with the mechanism and the door won't open.
Tried moving the lever by poking a rod (and light to see) down the lock hole but mechanism is jammed.
Took panel off drivers side to see how the mechanism operates, but still no luck.
It's not rusted.
Can't take the panel off because I need to open the door to do this
Can't take the lock barrel out with the panel on.
