Ford FairlaneFord Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
Does any body know if the front suspension on a 65 fairlane is the same as on a 65-ish mustang. I need the upper A arms on a fairlane coupe and was wondering about a good source for these parts. Any feedback would be much appreciated
Nope not the same. The fairlane's A arms have the spring sit right in them and the Mustang uses a pivoting spring perch at the bottom. The mustang springs are also smaller. The 62-65 Fairlane has a front suspension unique to itself.
