Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default Front and rear chrome trim removal
My buddy has a '58 four door fairlane in progress and we are trying to figure out how to remove the chrome trim around the windshield and rear window properly with out breaking and or tweaking it all to hell. Are there any special tools for this? I appreciate any tips and advice. Thanks in advanced.

I would look for an original 1958 Ford Body & Trim manual. They are on Ebay from time to time- suppliments to the original Ford Service Manuals.
