Ford FairlaneFord Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
I have a 67 Fairlane Ranchero (gold) which you could say I'm restoring.
I'll post some fotos up in a bit, but wanted to know what colour the interior that's not quite white, but not quite beige is. Amongst many other things I'll be asking later.
Oh yeh, I'm in Denver.
I like the cars, but just don't like the older super closed-minded people that usually accompany them.
A Ranchero! Man yuo just don't see many of them!
Good luck with it.

Welcome! I agree, sounds like you have parchment interior. This is an informative site but you may have to wait for a while for a question to be answered. Good luck with the Ranchero
I bought and installed both of the power steering (high and low pressure) lines, and I'm expecting the battery tray today or tomorrow. I also removed all the glue from the floorboard and will repaint it with 5 coats so it doesn't rust and will be a light brown colour as well as the clear coat.
I also just bought a PowerMac G4, which I'm typing on now. It's a very nice PC, but like the Fairlane, will need a few parts to make it better.

I now has power steering (spelling intended)!!!! Bought a 35in. GoodYear Gatorbelt from Schucks and put it on as well as I could, 70% over the PS pulley, and all the way on the main drive pulley.. Turned the motor over once, and it was good. Started car, revved it high a few times to try and loosen the belt (not so much success at that). Turned the wheel and didn't hear any sounds but had a dramatically easier time turning the wheel as I could even do it with an index finger (on really slick garage concrete floor). Belt however is so tight that I can't get the tensioner bolt back in, tried to move it with a wooden squeegee handle, but didn't work. I reckon I'll just have to wait for the belt to stretch a bit and then reinsert the bolt.
again, I has a perfectly working PS system!!!
