Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default New and have some questions

I found a 66 fairlane with a 6 in it and was wondering about how much is it worth paying for one that has a decent body but may need floor pans and missing bumpers worth? Also do the windows behind the doors roll down on all the models? Also what rear end came in the 66 with a 6 and are they four lug cars? I can post an ebay link if the forum allows it.

ohv I-6
200.0 3.68 x 3.13, C.I.D Bore and Stroke
120 @ 4,400 HP
190 @ 2,400 torque
9.2:1 1V 1966-1967

Also i want to say that the base rear end was a 9-inch with 3.25 gears but i am not sure and as far as price goes parts are easy to get and can be decent priced, if it is the one that you like then you can go v-8 pretty easily Hope this helps

I thought the small block fairlanes were the 8 inch not the nine. Just nine in the big block cars.

What bolt pattern are you talking about? The 8 inch is an alright rear as long as you aren't going to be putting a bunch of ponies to her.
Do you have a parts car? The only reason I ask is he says not all the parts are there. You could be digging and scrounging for a while unless you buy a bunch of new stuff it needs. Just a thought
