 Nubie w/63 Fairlane?
My first post and would like to say Hi and introduce myself, I'm from S/E Michigan and always had an interest in cars, my first being a 40 Ford 2dr, then 48 Merc coupe, 50 Ford coupe, then 57 Ford Fairlane 500 vert (Yes I'm old 67) but some how switched over to GM in the late 60s and had several GM hot rods (now a BB Nova)
A couple weeks ago I ran into a "Super Clean" 63 fairlane 6cyl/auto post car and even at my age thinking of another project, so here is a couple questions if anyone would be so kind to answer, I know a 289 or 302 will bolt right in, but will a 351 cleveland? and if so what auto tranny? I also have a super T-10 4sp (camaro) any chance? and if so, you think I'm too old to find peddles and a column from a 63 fairlane floor shift ? Also what rearend would be in a 63 6 cyl car?.. thanks SB (ps nice board you guys have here) |
