Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

zach64ford Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 1	63 Redo Hey guys my buddy bought a 4 door 63 Fairlane with a 260. First off hes going with a crate motor from ford racing. Probably the 302/347 crate. You can check it out if you want. Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6007-C347*] (any other crate recommendations around that price are welcome) anyhow i heard that the 302s will bolt right in. Is that true. If not what are we looking at to get it in there. On top of that SSBC hooked me up with a disc brake conversion for my 64 custom but they have nothing for him. Can anyone recommend a kit or possibilities because 450 horse is a hell of a lot of power for rusted drums haha. thanks guys
